From Optimist IBK desk. "What Are You Waiting For?"
‘But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.’ (Isaiah 40:31) . Majority of churches are really waiting on God this January, Like GOFAMINT (my church), REDEEM, HOUSE ON THE ROCK, DUNAMIS of which I know of, and much more. But the real question is are the members waiting on GOD. Waiting on God is hard. When we desperately need an answer to prayer and nothing seems to happen, our trust in God can be tested. However, when we look back at these times, we see how it has increased our faith. Have you ever been in a situation where you were waiting on the Lord? Maybe it was for healing, a new job, a husband? Maybe you are not waiting for the Lord, but still things are not happening the way you hoped or expected them to.
